Could you be a leader?

We're looking for people all over Ireland to become volunteer leaders. As a Community Bike Ride leader, you'll inspire others to be passionate about cycling. You'll get the chance to develop your leadership skills and make new friends while improving your own health and fitness. You don't need to be a cycling expert, just a confident cyclist with lots of enthusiasm to support others.

If you haven't already attended a one-day Cycling Ireland Ride Leader course, we'll provide this training for free. Or maybe you have already completed Ride Leader training? If so, we are keen to get you activated in your local community.

Upcoming Training

Please see below the most up-to-date list of available Ride Leader Training courses. If you are interested in attending one of these courses, please email us at communitybikerides@cyclingireland.ie.

Why get involved?

Group rides are a great way for people to connect with those around them. Leaders provide this opportunity, contributing to the health and well-being of their local community.
