We leave Blessington on the Kilmalum Road and after 2km we start the only climb of the cycle up Bishops Hill - it is about 1.5km long and a little steep in parts but not too taxing. We then have a nice long descent into Ballymore Eustace Village. It's then onto the R411 for a couple of kilometers before we turn right onto the L2023 where we pass Punchestown Racecourse. After 1km, we turn right onto the R410 and that takes us back to Blessington. This is a mainly flat route with only one short steep climb and a few small drags.

If you register and then cannot attend the ride please go through the cancellation process on your dashboard. I usually wait for 5 minutes at the start point before departing just in case anyone is running late.

Please click here to complete a self-assessment personal screening questionnaire in advance of your bike ride.

If you have a question for your ride leader in advance of the ride, please contact them through your dashboard, by clicking ‘ADD A DISCUSSION’ on this ride. Only the leader and those registered on this ride can view any questions/comments added through ‘VIEW DISCUSSION’ on their dashboard.

Lone cycle this evening around the quiet roads of Ballymore Eustace. Lovely picture of the Blessington Lake on the return leg.
