We'll meet at the Sails Sculpture in Clontarf and set off along the cycleway toward Howth. This cycleway is off the road (no cars!) but it is shared with pedestrians so we will go at an easy pace. After about 8km where the cycleway ends, we will join the road where there is a protected cycle lane the remainder of the way to Howth Village. We'll stop for a coffee (or ice-cream depending on the weather!) and a chat before returning to Clontarf along the same route.

This is a friendly beginner cycle and we will be in no hurry so feel free to come along regardless of your cycling experience level.

If you aren't sure about cycling the full distance, you have the option to take the Dart back from Howth, making this only an 11km journey.

Please click here to complete a self-assessment personal screening questionnaire in advance of your bike ride.

About

I love getting out and exploring in the fresh air, and cycling at a comfortable pace is my favourite way to do this! My goal is to help others enjoy the fun and freedom of leisure cycling. All are welcome on my bike rides, and of course, we will stop for a cuppa along the way!

Nice little spin out to Howth and back with a bit of weather - wind from all directions, and a touch of rain!
