A mixture of regulars and newbies today in support of Waterford Pride. A great turnout with people joining our group from as far as Portlaois. Weather good and greenway not too busy so it was plain sailing all the way to Kilmacthomas to meet up with the other group ride coming from Waterford. Lovely scenery on route and we took the time to get to know our new participants. I think that worked out as our new cycle buddies would be happy to join us again. Even on our planned trip to France!!! Arriving in Kilmacthomas, we met up with the other pride ride group and others celebrating Waterford Pride. Plenty of refreshments on offer, chat and of course craic. More new people to meet and greet as well. Photos taken and phone numbers shared. The time came when we had to return to Dungarvan. We said our farewells and set off. On the way we had our usual positive interaction with random people all enjoying the great amenity that is The Waterford Greenway. A long day today but a great day had by all.
