This Community Bike Ride is aimed at older adults in partnership with Age and Opportunity for the European Week of Sport (23rd-30th September).
This is a lovely cycle along the Blessington Greenway with views of the Blessington Lake. We will stop for coffee at the beautiful Russborough House. If the weather is dry and if people have time a small walk of the Russborough grounds is planned. If you are wearing cycling shoes a change of shoes would be needed for the walk. The 2.5 hrs includes the walk and cycle combined. We will meet at the start of the Greenway which is beside all the food trucks in the main carpark. Parking is €2, coins or card are accepted.

I am a member of the local cycling club here in Blessington, the Reservoir Cogs. I’m passionate about cycling and all things outdoors mainly because of the area I live in and what it has to offer. I’d like to welcome cyclists of all levels to join me so I can show you our beautiful area and to help you build a level of fitness and enjoyment, to meet new like minded people and of course coffee and cake!
