We leave Blessington for the short cycle to the start of the Greenway at the Avon Hotel. We then follow the gravel road through forests and alongside the lake until we reach the fabulous Russborough House where we will stop for coffee and cake. We then follow the same route back to Blessington. You do not need an expensive or fancy mountain bike for this route. A road bike with good grip wide tyres that can handle gravel will suffice.

Lovely cycle along the Blessington Greenway. No fancy bike needed. Great trail through the forest with beautiful views of the lake and mountains.
