Meeting in the village of Bweeng across from 'Molly’s Bar', we head towards New Tipperary on the R619. From there, we travel along the Shournagh Line for about 10km, following the Shournagh River and passing through the village of Firmount, until we arrive at the Tower to Blarney Road (R617). Turing left, it’s only a short spin into Blarney where we will stop for coffee and refreshments. Once refreshed, we leave Blarney and travel out the Waterloo Road. Staying on this road for about 15km, we will arrive back in Bweeng.

I joined AXA Community Bike Rides about a year and a half ago to get back into cycling, and I have found that it really is a community. I became an AXA Community Bike Ride leader to encourage people of all ages and abilities to get back up on the bike and join our community. It's never too late to start or re-start! And there's always coffee and cake!
Really enjoyable cycle this morning and managed to stay dry.
Thanks to everyone who attended!
