Departing Comber Leisure Centre, we follow Bridge Street to the A21 bypass, turning left for approximately 300 yards along the main Killinchy Road before taking another left for the Ballydrain Road. We will follow this coastal road to Nendrum Island and then on to Sketrick Island where we will have a short coffee stop, if the coffee shop is open. Our return journey will back along our outard route but without the detour to Nendrum.
This will be a relaxing run after Christmas Day. No-one will be left behind and our route will ensure an enjoyable cycle.

I'm an enthusiastic leisure cyclist, being a member of my local club in Killinchy. Earlier in 2019, I completed a charity cycle for Marie Curie from Malin Head to Mizen Head. Cycling is how I get my exercise, helping me control my weight, all the while enjoying good fun and camaraderie with my friends. I'm keen to help people in my local area, who perhaps presently cycle alone or in small groups, build their confidence so they can enjoy the experience that cycling in a larger group can bring.
