Travelling from Swords Fire Station, we head straight out the Balheary Road with a quick breather at Ballyboughal airfield. Yielding to turn right onto a busy road, but only for a few minutes until we turn left and onto Woodpark & Ballough. We then head over the M1 to Ballough and up to the '5 roads' before skirting around the Man O'War before heading back towards Walshestown, a short climb up the Nags Head before nipping up to https://www.mcnallyfamilyfarm.ie/ for a cuppa and some carrot cake. We take a more direct route straight back to Swords but with a few rolling hills, slow scenic climbs, followed by fun freewheeling descents. Continuing through Wimbletown - watch out for Wombles and back past Ballyboughal Airfield, straight down Windmill Lane to Balheary and back from where we came.
