We will start our session with a hands-on bicycle maintenance session at Wexford County Council car park where we will help you with some bike maintenance questions that you may have. This will include puncture repair and tips to get you going in the event of a roadside mechanical.

We will follow this by going through some essential bike safety skills before embarking on our bike ride. We will cover how to perform a bike check along with braking, head checking and gear selection.

Heading out of the car park, we will be taking a left turn and we pass through two successive roundabouts and on to the R730. We will continue onwards past Wexford Town's beautiful Quay front. We will continue our journey along Wexford's Cycle Hub Route 3, through the Faythe and on to the southbound cycle lane at Drinagh.

We will stop for a coffee at either the Farmers Kitchen or The Trough and chat about any issues that you have whilst cycling through an urban centre and help to give tips as to how to mitigate some of the risks. We will continue on the cycle track and on to the Rosslare Roundabout, where we take the second exit on to the N11 hard shoulder. The road rises steadily here as we approach the Duncannon Road roundabout. Here we continue along the N11 until we reach the New Ross roundabout. Here we will dismount and perform a 'walking roundabout' manoeuvre on to the Newtown Road. We will continue along the cycle tracks of this road until we reach Wexford General Hospital. A left turn here will take us back to the Wexford County Council car park.
