This spin takes us out the quiet back roads to Clara where we will link up with the R712 cycleway (Kilkenny - Carlow Road). At Paddy’s Pub, we will take a right turn and continue on to Gowran where we will stop at Molly’s Café for coffee. We will return back to Kilkenny on the back roads towards Blanchfield House, Dunbell, Maddockstown, along the Sion Road and finish at McDonagh Junction .
Check that your tyres are pumped up and your bike is in good working order. Please make sure you wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. Also, remember your money for the coffee stop.

Since 2006, I have been a recreational and utility cyclist and I have worked with Kilkenny Cycling Tours. I'm a tutor with southeast cycling safety, KRSP and Cycling Ireland. My aim is to get more people on bikes so they can enjoy the health benefits it has to offer.
Nice spin with some lovely spring weather and excellent coffee and cake at Molly's cafe.
