Departing from the cenotaph in the centre of Groomsport Village, we will follow the scenic and generally very flat coastal road through Donaghadee and Millisle, before heading inland across the Ards Penninsula towards Greyabbey where we will stop for refreshments. After a short stop, our return journey commences inland back to Groomsport via Carrowdore.
This will be a generally easy going route with spectacular scenery. This coastal route is suited for all casual/leisure cyclists. Please check this page before setting off for the start location in case of any changes.

I'm an enthusiastic leisure cyclist, being a member of my local club in Killinchy. Earlier in 2019, I completed a charity cycle for Marie Curie from Malin Head to Mizen Head. Cycling is how I get my exercise, helping me control my weight, all the while enjoying good fun and camaraderie with my friends. I'm keen to help people in my local area, who perhaps presently cycle alone or in small groups, build their confidence so they can enjoy the experience that cycling in a larger group can bring.
Dry at the start but wet by the end
