Please note this cycle is part of “Her Outdoors” week being promoted by Sport Ireland and is a cycle specifically targeted at female participants.
Tonights cycle begins by turning down left out of the side exit of the car park in the direction of the South Slob. At the T Junction we take the right turn which takes us up to the N25/Rosslare road. We cross straight over the main road here when it's safe to do so. We cycle up into Piercestown, turning left at the church and then right up into Knocknagall. We pass up past Hodges Mill and continue up the road in the direction of Murrintown. Turning right and then immediately left we pass Murrintown Community Centre. We then turn right up Redshire road. About two thirds of the way up this road, we take a right hand turn and head over in the direction of the Deer park road where we take another right and head back down the hill in the direction of the L3041. We turn left at the T Junction and continue straight through the small roundabout. We stay on the lower road and cycle down over the flyover into Coolballow. There's a beautiful view out to sea from the top of the flyover. At the end of the Coolballow road, we turn right, crossing over the main road when it's safe to do so. We cycle back up the road to the car park on our left where we started out. Our cycle concludes here. This route is quite scenic. We can stop if anyone would like to take a photo at any point.

I love my bike! I love adventure, being outside in the fresh air, on the move, all year round. I love how it makes me feel - Alive! I honestly believe the best experiences are shared experiences which is why I decided to register to become a Ride Leader. I want to share the 'Feel Good' with as many people as possible. We will never be as young again as we are now, let's give it a go and see what happens!
Lovely sunshine for our cycle this evening with a little breeze. Autumn is certainly on its way. Great to get out in the evening time too. The route was slightly challenging to start but we had lots of downhill on the way home. Great to see new faces helping to celebrate HER Outdoors week. Thanks to everyone for the great company on the spin and to Anna from Wexford Sports Active for arranging Philip to take some pics. We look forward to seeing those.
