Leaving Murrintown, we head out in the direction of Kilmore but take a left hand turn on to the L3046 which takes us all the way to and through Mayglass. We come to a T-junction at the R739 and cycle straight across when it's safe to do so. We pick up the L3055 but take a left, bringing us onto the R736. We stay on this road, passing through the cross of Twelveacre and make our way down into Tagoat. Arriving at the main Rosslare Road, we carefully cross over and continue along the R736 into Rosslare Strand. We take a right hand turn up into Mauritiustown and follow this road over the railway bridge, round the corner and down the hill. We will take our coffee stop here (Coffee stop is 20 minutes approximately). There are toilet facilities here, along with beautiful views out to sea! We continue our cycle up station road and then back up to Ashfield Roundabout where we will take up the N25. We cycle up the hard shoulder of the N25 as far as the left turn for Orristown. We turn here and follow this road all the way up to (almost) Piercestown, where we will turn left again and follow the road up to Hodgesmill. Continuing up along we eventually come back to the village of Murrintown and the community centre.

I love my bike! I love adventure, being outside in the fresh air, on the move, all year round. I love how it makes me feel - Alive! I honestly believe the best experiences are shared experiences which is why I decided to register to become a Ride Leader. I want to share the 'Feel Good' with as many people as possible. We will never be as young again as we are now, let's give it a go and see what happens!
There's a lot to be said for being outside and active on a cool grey winters day. We enjoyed another lovely cycle today and the coffee and treats beside the sea at Rosslare were very welcome indeed. Here's to more back country roads and laneways, hard to reach places and even the 'odd' wrong turn!
