This is a scenic cycle around the New Ross Town. The cycle starts in New Ross and then proceeds out into the countryside and then returns back into New Ross. There are some small to moderate hills (230m total climbing), but we will always regroup at the top of each to ensure we stay together. For the most part, there is ample space to cycle on the hard shoulder for most of the ride and once we are on the quiet country lanes, we may cycle in pairs.

See MapMyRide link for complete navigational details. We’ll stop at Costa Coffee at the end of the cycle to grab a cuppa, relax and share.

Whilst this is a No-Drop-Ride, riders should be at a fitness level to maintain a 16km/hr pace on flat ground. No previous group riding experience is required.

About

I’m originally from California and I’ve been cycling now for 45+ years. I have really enjoyed the countless adventures my bicycle has taken me on. I find cycling in a group enhances the experience, especially the camaraderie that typically takes place. As a group leader, my job is to ensure you enjoy yourself in a safe and controlled manner. I ensure the group stays together and that we set a pace and distance which everyone feels comfortable with. I hope you’ll join us!
