We leave Blessington on the R410 and after 9km we turn left onto the L203 passing Punchestown Racetrack. We then travel onto the L2032 passing through Twomile House. At 25km, we turn left onto the R445 and pass through Newbridge (close to the Curragh Racetrack). We continue onto the R416 through Killcullen, Brannaockstown, Ballymore Eustace and back to Blessington for coffee and cake! There are a small number of short sharp climbs on this route, but nothing to daunting.

For anyone running a bit late, I will wait at the start point until 10:05am and then depart. Please go through the cancellation process if you need to cancel your ride.

I am a member of the local cycling club here in Blessington, the Reservoir Cogs. I’m passionate about cycling and all things outdoors mainly because of the area I live in and what it has to offer. I’d like to welcome cyclists of all levels to join me so I can show you our beautiful area and to help you build a level of fitness and enjoyment, to meet new like minded people and of course coffee and cake!

No participants today but that didn't stop me making the most of a beautiful morning and cycling through some of the villages in the Garden county.
