Pallasleiney Loop

Leaving the car park, we turn left onto the R495. Continue down into Borrisoleigh village square and turn right going up to the Cross of Pallas. Turn left at the junction and keeping left at Pallas bridge (Sandtrap) follow the road beside the Clodagh River to Annfield Bridge, keeping left here and onto the stop junction at The Ragg. Going straight across the R498, past the school and after approximately 5km turn right at Graigue Crossroads and follow to a stop junction onto the N62. Extreme caution as we cross the N62 and head towards Loughmore Village. We go through the village, under the railway bridge and continue over the river bridge following the road for another 3km before keeping left at the fork road junction. Continuing into and through Castleleiney Village to the stop junction onto the R502. Keeping left, over the railway bridge and to the stop junction. Left again here and into Templemore for a well earned coffee stop!

Leaving Templemore on the R501 towards Borrisoleigh, we turn right and head to Barnane passing a beautiful view of the Devils Bit Mountain. At the stop junction turn left and follow the road all the way to the stop junction at Gortalough Bridge. Another left here and onto Summerhill junction where we turn right, rejoining the R501, following the road into Borrisoleigh. At the stop junction turn right onto the R498 and up through the village, turning right into Centra car park.
