From Canal Square, we make our way to the Kilkenny Ring Road. At the Dublin Road Roundabout, we head right onto the Sion Road. This quiet road snakes by the River Nore for approximately 8km until we reach Bennettsbridge.
At the village, we cross the river and branch left past Nicholas Mossé Pottery. This road takes us past Maidenhall and Annamult. After approximately 9km, we arrive at the Church in Ennisnag, where we take a left for Stoneyford and stop for coffee at 'Knockdrinna Café'.
Suitably refreshed, we leave Stoneyford and head back towards Kilkenny City. After 4km on a quiet road, we intersect the motorway and join the main road where after a further 7km, we reach the outskirts of Kilkenny City, where we conclude our ride.
