Bikefest Kilkenny - City Spin

This spin is designed for people who are beginners / new to cycling or those returning to cycling. An easy pace with a mixture of road and off-road cycling starting at the county hall heading towards the Canal Walk by the River Nore in the shadow of Kilkenny Castle. We will head on to Bennettsbridge Road, Nuncio Road, Waterford Road, Coote’s Lane, Roberts Hill, some lane ways over to Stephen's Street and back onto the road to the Sycamores. We will head along the river bank known as Linear Walk, Riverside Drive, more laneways onto Dean Street over the Francis Abbey Bridge, onto the Quay over the Lady Desart Bridge and finish up at the yard cafe for a coffee.

Make sure you wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. Also, remember your money for the coffee stop and a lock may be useful as we will probably end up sitting inside.
