Starting outside The Lord Mayor's pub and travelling down Church Road, 3 sets of speed ramps to look out for and then a short steep climb to St Columbas Church and Swords own round Tower, pull in at the gate and we'll get a photo for this weeks competition entry. At the end of Church Road, we turn right and just past 'The Pound' and at the traffic lights, we'll mount the footpath for our second shot, with Swords Castle and Christmas tree beautifully illuminated in the background.

Then, on with the serious business of actual cycling. A right turn into Seatown Road and then up along Chapel Lane. Take a low gear for the climb up and over  the narrow footbridge - be prepared to dismount for pedestrians. Keeping to the path, we follow round to the Malahide Road, then left at the roundabout down past the Applegreen and onto a rough bit of ground for 10 mtrs, some might prefer to walk their bike along here.

Down through the business park and out onto the estuary road to Seabury, right at the lights, a little busy section of road for 1km and up onto the bike path at Waterside, over the motorway and left. Left again out the Feltrim road. Right up Kettles Lane and through Drynam to the bike path skirting the motorway to Holywell. We have to use a pedestrian crossing to get us back onto the correct side of the road and after the roundabout we can rejoin the cycle path up and into Airside, where we can stop for tea and biscuits, before finishing our loop, back to where we started.
