On leaving the car park, we turn left going down through Borrisoleigh village and turn left onto the R501. At Summerhill junction, we turn left and follow the road to the right. At Killoskehane bridge we turn right and follow the road past Killoskehane castle and Barnane school before turning right and following this road to a stop junction. We then turn left onto the R501 and into the town of Templemore. At the top of the town, we turn right and follow the road towards Templetuohy, taking the right turn approx. 1km out from the town. Now we follow the R502 all the way to Templetuohy, stopping here for a well earned break. We then turn right heading towards Moyne and take the next right turn and follow the road to Loughmore-Castleiney GAA grounds. Here we go left until a stop junction. We then take a right and then a left at the fork in the road following this road to another stop junction. We go left here and on through the village of Loughmore to a stop junction. With caution, we go straight across the N62 and on to the next stop junction. We turn right here and then very quickly to the left and follow to another stop junction. Turn right and at the next junction turn left into Drom village. At the stop junction, turn right and on to the next stop junction where we turn left onto the R501 and follow the road back to Borrisoleigh. At the stop junction, we turn right and go up through the village turning right back into the carpark at Shanahan's service station.

I have been cycling forever, it seems. I just love to cycle. For me it's the journey, that is the fun bit, not the destination and the pace is the key to an enjoyable spin. If I can share my experience and joy of cycling with others, then everyone is a winner!
