Meeting beside the blue gate, inside the entrance to Forrest Little Golf Club (please don't block the entry/exit).

We will travel up Cooks Lane, a left turn only, means we continue to the roundabout and come all the way back on ourselves. The next left brings us along Killeek Lane. At the rear of Keelings Fruit Farm, we continue all the way to the T-junction at the end and we turn left, then right at the new runway lights towards St. Margarets. Right onto the Oldtown Road, past the GAA & golf clubs through Kilsallaghan, left onto Glebe Road - a quick stop here to make sure the bikes and everyone is OK. Fit to continue, left out onto the Garristown Road which is a little busier with traffic for a very brief spell. Then Rath Lane, narrow single track with initial surface badly broken up, watch out for potholes & debris. Left out to and when clear, across the old N2, onto Kilbride Lane. Back through the townland of Cluthe and up to 'Bradys' for a cuppa and a snack. Suitably re-charged, we cross the main road and turn left at the Coolquay Lodge. Continuing up towards the primary school at Kilcoskan, we take the opposing right turn. We make our way back via Corrstown Golf Club, Surgalstown and Lauristown to Kilreesk Road, Killeek Lane, the Naul Road, Cooks Lane and back to where we started.

A break in the rain, just in time for this quick refreshing spin to Coolquay. As I was on my own, I didn't stop for coffee but still had the chat (with myself, lol)
